inlumi’s vendor partners selected in Gartner Magic Quadrant for FP&A and Financial Close

November 20th, 2019

inlumi is honoured to once again have all three of its main vendor partners selected by Gartner as visionaries and leaders in both the Magic Quadrant for Cloud Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Solutions and the Magic Quadrant for Cloud Financial Close (FC) Solutions.

For their FP&A solutions, Oracle is classified as a leader, and CCH Tagetik and OneStream Software as visionaries. For their Financial Close solutions, inlumi is honoured that all three vendors have been classified as leaders this year.

The Gartner Magic Quadrants are guidelines for organisations to determine which vendor solutions can best support their operations. Using extensive data analysis, Gartner provides insights into the latest trends and the leading and upcoming vendors in the market today.

Leaders are defined as those vendors which provide mature offerings that meet market demand and demonstrate the vision necessary to sustain their market position as requirements evolve. Leaders are notable for their ability to guide the overall market and determine its direction.

Visionaries are vendors which are growing and introduce new technology, services and business models. They align with Gartner’s view of how a market will evolve.

Gartner had the following to say about inlumi’s partners with regard to their FP&A solutions:

Oracle (Leader): “Oracle has many large customers, global reach, and both a large implementation partner ecosystem and service organisation, with broad business domain and industry coverage. Reference customers cited the partner ecosystem as having become more reliable in implementing Oracle cloud-based FP&A solutions.”

CCH Tagetik (Visionary): “CCH Tagetik has consistently demonstrated its ability to satisfy the needs of large, complex organisations. For example, 50% of customers surveyed had more than $1 billion in annual revenue, and 17% had more than $10 billion in annual revenue.”

OneStream Software (Visionary): “OneStream received the second-highest score in terms of overall product capabilities. Reference customers cited the solution’s modern architecture, guided workflows, strong portfolio of third-party implementers, broad variety of reporting options and a growing set of marketplace applications as specific strengths.”

About their Financial Close solutions, Gartner’s report says:

Oracle (Leader): “Oracle has many large customers, a global reach, a large ecosystem of implementation partners, and a service organisation that offers broad business domain and industry coverage. The large and growing global user community for Oracle FCCS was said by some reference customers to help sharpen their knowledge of Oracle’s capabilities, identify best practices and overcome challenges.”

CCH Tagetik (Leader): “CCH Tagetik has consistently demonstrated its ability to satisfy the needs of large, complex organisation for financial consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, disclosure management and reporting. It received higher scores from its larger reference customers — a finding consistent with our analysis of interactions with users of Gartner’s client inquiry service.”

OneStream Software (Leader): “OneStream outscored all the other vendors in the reference customer survey with respect to its solution’s value for money, and received some of the highest scores for product satisfaction and overall capabilities. Improvements in these scores underpin its momentum and new status as a Leader.”
